Hodgson Maggiore History
The firm was founded in late 1994 following the merger of two regional building societies. The eponymous partners were respectively General Manager/Secretary and Chief Solicitor of the Legal Department of one of the merging societies. The firm initially concentrated on remortgages business as well as sales and purchases business and has continued to do so to this day. Over the years, the firm has expanded into other areas including online residential conveyancing.
The firm was the first in the North East region to hold both of the Investor in People and Lexcel accreditations; it has also been favoured with awards for enterprise over the years.
Since the advent of online conveyancing, the firm has been at the forefront of development of cheap web based conveyancing work, working initially with online introducers of conveyancing work. However, it quickly became apparent that a quality low cost conveyancing direct route to market was needed and this website is one response to that need.
The firm regularly carries out customer satisfaction surveys and scores highly. The staff involved in our remortgage section, in particular, have been continuously involved in remortgage activity for over 20 years and regularly win plaudits for their fast and friendly approach to the work. This combined with online conveyancing activity and competitive fees makes for a winning combination! We strive to be the market leaders in online conveyancing at prices that are competitive fair pitched at level that gives the client value for money.
